With anticipation high for the next Star Wars film that is said to cap off the saga, Commercenter Alabang is pleased to announce that it is offering fans first dibs to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker through early screenings on December 20.

This exciting premiere night will be kicked off by the Commercenter Alabang Movie Quiz Night: Star Wars Edition, co-presented with Filipino quiz host Pop!Quiz. Star Wars fans will be challenged to use the Force in conquering tough questions about the Star Wars franchise. Participants will be entitled to an exclusive block screening of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at Commercenter Cinemas.

“We at Commercenter Alabang are as thrilled as the Star Wars fandom for the premiere of The Rise of Skywalker. And to bring more excitement to all fans, we are holding a movie quiz night to further enliven their cinema experience by showcasing their knowledge about the globally loved franchise. Also, with our state-of-the-art cinemas, they will surely have a memorable experience witnessing the epic Skywalker saga come to end,” shares Leslie Tagle-Dinglasan, AVP for marketing of Commercenter Alabang.

The Commercenter Alabang Movie Quiz Night: Star Wars Edition is happening on December 20 from 7PM to 9PM. It will be succeeded by the packaged movie block screening from 9:30PM to 12AM.

The much-awaited saga ender will run until December 22 and will return to the silver screen on January 8, 2020.

Banking on the distinct excitement quiz nights bring, Commercenter Alabang collaborated with Pop!Quiz Philippines to host a Commercenter Movie Quiz Night: Star Wars Edition, a quiz contest that aims to bring fans together to engage in a battle that would test their knowledge of the globally loved franchise.

There will be six rounds for the contestants to prove themselves as the greatest and most knowledgeable Jedi of all. Questions will revolve around the Jedi and allies, creatures and aliens, robots and space crafts, planets and locations, and even the dark side.

Star Wars buffs will surely enjoy and learn a lot from the quiz night. Interested contestants are required to register with a minimal fee of PHP150 to participate at the contest. Also, fans who want to join both the movie quiz night and the movie premiere of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker can buy their tickets with a packaged price of PHP400. Group of four to six purchasers can avail the group deal of PHP350/pax, which already comes with a movie quiz night ticket and a movie block screening pass.

Many of the fans have been following this worldwide pop culture phenomenon since 1977, supporting the vast array of movies, games and animations the franchise has to offer.
