This October, Aveeno puts the focus on sharing a daily care solution for Eczema in light of National Eczema Awareness Month. Eczema is a condition that causes the skin to become red, itchy, inflamed and very dry. People with this condition will often experience periods of time where their symptoms flare up or worsen.

Aveeno recently just launched their transformative line in the Philippines, the Aveeno Dermexa, which specifically aims to address the needs of those with Eczema-prone skin.

This line consists of a daily emollient body wash and cream which are both formulated with Prebiotic Oats and Ceramides, that are meant to soothe very dry and itchy skin and help strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier as well. It is also paraben-free, fragrance-free, and most importantly steroid-free making it even gentler, safer and not harmful to the skin.

With the help of Aveeno’s enriching wholesome active naturals, Aveeno Dermexa is also clinically proven to prevent flare ups, restore skin microbiome and relieve the key symptoms of Eczema.

Aveeno offers a two-step daily care solution that you just need to include in your self-care routine.

The first step is to cleanse with the Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient body wash. This product is not only formulated with Colloidal Oats and Ceramides and it is also soap-free which ensures to gently cleanse and soothe the skin without making it feel dry. It leaves the skin feeling soft, comfortable and it’s the perfect complement to your moisturizing routine for both adults and kids 3 years old and up.

The second step is to protect very dry skin by moisturizing and soothing it with the Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient cream. Formulated with Triple Oat Complex and Ceramides, this promises to not only relieve the itchiness and irritation, but also prevent Eczema flare ups and all the while being suitable for the whole family, even babies.

With around 65 years of experience in skin expertise, Aveeno has always been trusted by consumers to provide superior solutions with the use of their natural ingredients, such as Collodial Oatmeal, and their cutting-edge science turning these into clinically proven results.

“This National Eczema Awareness month, we want to help those with Eczema-prone skin by offering a daily care solution for everyone in the family, from parents and even their children, to help relieve them from discomfort stemming from Eczema,” says Kat Suarez, Senior Brand Manager of Aveeno Philippines. “Aveeno as a brand has always promised to protect and target the needs of every skin type – especially those with skin problems because we believe that when you nurture your skin, you’ll feel better overall from skin to soul.”

The Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Cream is available in 200ml for Php 1,100.00 while the Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Body Wash is available in 280ml for Php 900.00. These two products are Dermatologist tested and has also been accepted by the National Eczema Association. The Aveeno Dermexa line is available at Lazada, Mercury Drug Store, & Watsons.
