Tropical depression ‘Marilyn’ and the southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring scattered rain showers in Metro Manila on Friday.
In its latest forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon (habagat) is also affecting some parts of Luzon and will bring moderate to intermittent heavy rains over the provinces of Aurora and Palawan, western Visayas and Zamboanga peninsula.
As of 3 a.m., the center of Marilyn was last observed at 1,070 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 55 km. per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph. It is moving northwest at 20 kph.
Metro Manila temperature ranges from 24-27 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-30 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-19 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 24-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 25-30 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
