A total of 364,784 booster doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered through the PinasLakas campaign.

In a Viber message to reporters Wednesday night, the Department of Health said the doses were given from July 26 to Aug. 2.

“[About] 2,685 senior citizens were provided with full dose of the Covid-19 vaccine for the same period,” the DOH said.

The DOH aims to vaccinate 90 percent of the target elderly population and to boost 50 percent of the target population during the first 100 days of the Marcos administration.

The PinasLakas campaign makes vaccines more accessible and available in public markets, places of worship, malls, transport terminals, offices, factories, plazas and schools.

As of Aug. 1, the DOH said more than 71.7 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated.

More than 16.2 million individuals have received their first booster dose and more than 1.3 million got their second booster shot. (PNA)
