Ahh, to grow up with strict parents. When every hang-out requires 3 business days before approval; and you have to inform them every little detail of your whereabouts.

But seriously though, don’t take it against them, they mean well. And we’re pretty sure you’re not alone.

Did you know that some Pinoy celebrities also experienced the same style of parenting as you did (or to some, still do)?

Here are some stars who were raised by strict parents:

1. Liza Soberano

This might shock some, but yes, one of the hottest names right now grew up with strict parents! Apparently, the reason she and beau Enrique Gil took a while before publicizing their relationship is because of her obedience to her parents.

According to an interview with Liza a few years back, her mom already gave the blessing for Quen, but she promised her parents that she would finish her studies first before she makes it official.

In 2019, Liza revealed that she and Enrique have been dating since October 2014.
