Looking back to these Miss Universe Philippines queens who after winning the crown is highlighted with a breakup story with their romantic relationships.

Catriona and Clint (2014-2019)

In 2019, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray confirmed in an interview with Tito Boy Abunda that she and her boyfriend, Clint Bondad, decided to end their six-year relationship. One of the reasons behind their split is, they outgrew each other and they already had misunderstandings even before the Miss Universe competition, she revealed during the interview. Gray also wanted to live in the moment and be focused on her Miss Universe journey. On the other hand, Bondad still showed his support to his ex-girlfriend throughout her win in Thailand.

Rabiya and Niel (2014-2020)

While for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, her 7-year relationship with Neil Salvacion is complicated, during an interview with Tito Boy Abunda last May 2021. It was only affirmed that they are no longer together after her long-time boyfriend, Salvacion, posted a text story on his Instagram account last June. Rumors about their break-up started spreading after several netizens noticed that Salvacion deleted all of his pictures with Rabiya in his Instagram feed. Today, both of them are not following each other anymore on their respective social media.

Beatrice and Kate (2015-2021)

And the most recent revelation is the almost 7-year relationship of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez and DJ Kate Jagdon has ended. Without any yet interview with Tito Boy, their relationship was finally addressed by Jagdon, as she posted a statement on her Instagram stories calling it “quits” last November 23. After a month of assumptions and speculations about the breakups between the two, Jagdon admitted that Gomez and she have parted ways. Ended her statement with best of luck for Gomez’s pageant journey and hoping for the people to respect their privacy.
