The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is exploring more job opportunities for skilled Filipino workers as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) seeks to attract more foreign workers to support its 2025 growth and development plans.

On Wednesday, Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac reiterated the DMW’s commitment to seeking more overseas employment for Filipino workers while ensuring their protection and welfare while working in a foreign country.

“The DMW remains committed to ensuring that the OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) are positioned to become valuable contributors to the global workforce while ensuring their protection and success abroad,” Cacdac said in a news release.
