Residents near Mt. Kanlaon are urged to stay vigilant and prayerful following the series of volcano-tectonic earthquakes that jolted some parts of Negros Occidental early Monday morning.
According to DOH-7 regional director Dr. Jaime Bernadas, the Center for Health Development in the region has deployed 50 registered nurses and 100 underboard physicians.
Each farmer received 40 kgs of certified rice seeds and 2 bags of fertilizer per hectare of farm area and 20 kgs of hybrid rice seeds and 3 bags of fertilizer per hectare of farm area.
