In full support of the modernization program of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Cavite provincial government on Tuesday released to the Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) 25 mobile patrol cars and 670 handheld and base radio communication units worth PHP50.35 million.

At the turnover ceremony held at the Cavite PPO covered court, CPPO provincial director Col. Christopher Falculan Olazo acknowledged the people who pushed for the granting of the donation, saying “this will further boost the morale of the members of the Cavite Police and would also result to a better quality of service to the public.”

Olazo also expressed gratitude to the administration of Cavite Governor Juanito Victor Remulla for his all-out support for the province’s police force.

Aside from Olazo and Remulla, also present at the turnover of the vehicles and radio equipment was Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., director of PNP Regional Office 4A, who extended his gratitude to the governor for inspiring the police force of Cavite as a role model and the “father of the province”.

“Again, I remind every man and woman in police uniform to continue your duties and responsibilities with utmost diligence as a form of repayment for the community and constituents of the province of Cavite,” Nartatez remarked in closing during the event. (PNA)
