Filipino athlete Celine Abalos showed her outstanding skills as she topped the championship for this year’s Australian Masters US Kids Golf Tournament.

The young champ was able to ace her score among the golfers who participated in the girls’ junior division, aged 13 to 14 years old, which was held in Sydney, Australia.

Her recent championship win in the tournament was a significant victory for the Philippines since she defeated all of her competitors by a combined score of 77 in consecutive rounds.

With her recent triumph, her family members expressed their support and excitement for the athlete after winning such an award.

“My youngest daughter Celine bags her championship title as she topped the girls 13-14 years division of the US Kids Australian Junior Masters. […] It is indeed a big victory for our country,” her father and DILG secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. said.

Besides Celine’s family members, President Bongbong Marcos also penned a message to the young athlete for giving such an honor to the country.

“You made the whole nation proud! Well done, young champ!,” President Marcos Jr. said.

After this win, the young athlete is looking forward to more golf tournaments in the near future to showcase Filipino talent across the world.
