The Department of Migrant Workers is now accepting applications for 600 Filipino registered nurses to be deployed in partner hospitals and elderly care centers in Germany.

The hiring will be done through a government-to-government (G2G) partnership under the Triple Win Project (TWP), according to an announcement of the German Embassy Manila on Monday.

Application is open to all Filipino registered nurses with at least one-year related professional experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or care institutions or as private duty nurses.

Applicants should have German language proficiency of B1 or B2 Level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or should undergo German language training in the country for free under the TWP to attain B1 level.

If German language training is needed, an applicant should be able to attend the language class that may start anytime between November 2022 and January 2023.

Those with B1 and/or B2 certificates issued more than a year ago shall undergo a language assessment.

A free refresher course under the TWP is likewise available.

Other documentary requirements are a cover letter and curriculum vitae with a photo; notarized Nursing degree diploma upon acceptance to the program; Board Certificate and copy of license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission; previous and current certificates of employment in related field to be notarized upon acceptance to the program; attendance or level certificate for the German language, if available; and valid passport.

The TWP started in 2013 and was commissioned by the German Federal Employment Agency.

Filipino nurses have been deployed to major hospital partners all over Germany, with some already promoted to higher positions while others are pursuing further studies.
