Nini Ragos was on her way to the market when she saw a dog in the middle of her town creek. Ragos shared that the dog was quivering and looked like it had been there for a long time. Quickly after seeing the dog, Ragos immediately asked for help. Soon enough, she safely traveled down the creek wall to reach the dog and walked to the dog, and got her.
After saving the dog, it was brought to Ragos’ attention that the pet was a mother to six puppies and could not walk properly. She was unable to walk and dragged her back legs to move. The owner of the dog was away because it was visiting a relative and the dog was left in the care of their neighbor. Luckily, Ragos and the child was quick to act.
After seeing the dog in poor condition, Ragos brought the her to the vet. The vet said that the she should be put under observation for around 3-4 weeks. This prompted Ragos’ plea for donations.
Nini Ragos and the child’s actions are heroic and courageous. Without their kindness, who knows what would have happened to the pet. Thankfully, there are people like Nini who are out here to help when our furry friends are in need.
