PAGEONE Group, through its learning platform Public Relations Institute (PRi), empowered Filipino bloggers once more through the “Smartphone Photography Workshop” this October 4 at the PAGEONE Headquarters.

This creative workshop sought to educate the Group’s partner bloggers in mastering the art of capturing professional-quality photos with just their smartphones, encouraging them to get creative without having to invest in an expensive camera or gear.

The morning session concentrated on the seminar where award-winning photojournalist from Manila Bulletin Mark Balmores discussed the exposure triangle—aperture, ISO, and shutter speed—composition rules, and the basics of smartphone photography, underscoring how photography captures and preserves history and other important events for the future generations.

Meanwhile, the afternoon session provided the bloggers with an opportunity to test their photography skills by trying out portrait photography, product photography, action shots, and a wide range of other exciting techniques on multiple product stations that were set up. It was graced by Mr. Global Philippines 2021 and freelance model Mico Teng as the photography subject and model.

The workshop was sponsored by ASUS, Serenitea, Masflex Cookware, Simpol, and Chef Tatung.
