SM Foundation distributed 30,500 Kalinga packs of rice and other food essentials to several communities across the country to augment the recipients’ food supply during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The barangay recipients include Brgy. Culiat, Quezon City; Brgy. Tunasan, Muntinlupa City; Brgy. Mayamot, Antipolo; Sitio Tungkong Mangga, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan; Brgy. Burol 1, Dasmariñas, Cavite; and other communities nationwide.

This effort forms part of Operation Tulong Express (OPTE), a social good program of SM Foundation in collaboration with SM Supermalls and SM Markets to address the needs of communities during calamities and crisis.
