Up-and-coming alternative rock band The Nomads delivers a unique twist to blissful Christmas tunes with the single “Merry Christmas Wherever You Are.”

Released under ABS-CBN’s DNA Music record label, the Taglish song is about spending Christmas without one’s special someone and the melancholic feeling the situation brings.

The duo, composed of Yyam Gulfan on lead vocals and guitar and Enzo Mediavillo on drums, shared that the song was inspired by the edgy Christmas movie of Tim Burton, “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” It was written by Ed Formosa and produced by Anghel Ferrer.

The Nomads is ready to make a name in the industry with electrifying performances and craftsmanship in arranging music. Yyam and Enzo draw inspiration from bands like IV OF SPADES, twenty one pilots, and iDKHOW and their music, focusing on alternative rock and synth-pop genres, features captivating melodies that will surely make the audience sing.

The band was part of the #OneArellano Campus Tour last May 2023 alongside Silent Sanctuary, Mijon., and The MotherCampers. Their previous releases include “Catch Me If You Can” and “Delikado.”
