The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported 29 more overseas Filipinos (OFs) contracting the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), pushing the total tally to 10,467.

In its latest case bulletin, the DFA said the new Covid-19 cases were from Asia and the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The department also reported 22 new recoveries and one death.

With these figures, the number of recoveries stood at 6,676 while the death toll climbed to 792.

Meanwhile, about 2,999 Filipinos abroad are still undergoing treatment.

“The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic,” the department said. (PNA)
