The Dunkin’ Donut team went around Metro Manila to hand out donuts to different communities that were affected by Typhoon Ulysses on Thursday.

“We know we’re currently going through a lot, but each one of us can help in our own little way. Stay safe, everyone!” Dunkin’ Philippines stated on Twitter.

With the help of GMA Kapuso Foundation, Dunkin’ Donuts Philippines was able to distribute more than hundreds of donut bundles in the evacuation centers of Rizal and nearby barangays in Metro Manila who experienced the flood.

Angono Rizal Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon, together with the people who received the boxes of donuts, thanked Dunkin’ Donuts Angono and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) who helped with the distribution and assistance to aid the evacuees in their place.

Also, San Juan City Councilor Raissa Laurel also expressed appreciation towards the responsible persons behind the 50 dozens of Dunkin’ Donuts given to the San Juan evacuees.

The Typhoon Ulysses brought massive rainfall, severe flooding, and powerful winds in some parts of Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon, a company like Dunkin’ Donuts has been engaging in helping people during difficult times.

As typhoon weakens on Friday, its aftermath resulted in 26 deaths, and over 25,000 people experienced the outrage.

As of writing, Typhoon Ulysses is said to be an onslaught of Tropical Storm Ondoy in September 2009 that brought unbearable memories to many Filipinos before Christmas time.
