DFA: No New Covid-19 Cases, Deaths Among Overseas Filipinos

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday reported no new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections among Filipinos abroad.

In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also tallied no new fatality and recoveries among Filipinos abroad.

The number of confirmed cases remains at 11,522, the death toll stood at 830 and the total number of recoveries at 7,461.

Meanwhile, about 3,231 Filipinos overseas are still undergoing treatment.

“The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare,” the DFA statement read. (PNA)
