A total of 45 new recovered cases reported on Monday pushed the overall tally of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) recoveries nationwide to 374,366.

In its latest case bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) also reported 1,738 new confirmed cases, to bring the total number of active cases to 27,369.

Of the active cases, about 83 percent are mild, 8.5 percent are asymptomatic, 3 percent are severe, 0.20 percent are moderate and 5.3 percent are in critical condition.

The majority of the new cases are from Davao City with 140, Cavite with 117, Rizal with 89, Laguna with 87, and Batangas with 79 infections.

A DOH data based on November 15 report showed that 906 or 6 percent of the 15,210 who have tested turned out positive for Covid-19.

The DOH also logged seven deaths, bringing the country’s death toll to 7,839.

As of Monday, DOH said it has 21,300 total bed capacity dedicated to Covid-19 patients.

Available are about 57 percent of 1,900 intensive care unit beds; 59 percent of 13,500 isolation beds; and 71 percent of 5,900 ward beds.

About 78 percent of 2,000 ventilators are available for use. (PNA)
