Little King with a lot of ‘hakot’, Filipino-American Ian Story, has crowned New England Little Mister Citrus 2023 winner in the Citrus Preliminary Pageant held this November in the United States.

Showing off his charisma and talent, Ian earned a jeweled crown with a matching silver platter and a golden ticket, advancing him to free entry to the International Citrus Pageant and Model Search next year.

Aside from the preliminary grand title, Ian garnered three special awards, such as Supermodel, Fashion Icon, and Most Handsome. His mother, Jho Story, could not hold back her tears for her son, who won not one but four titles.

“Yung nanunuod ka sa anak mo na umiiyak ka sa sobrang saya dahil first time, all we knew we were joining for Ian to experience, but he got all. Super winner ng buhay ko,” his mother wrote as a caption on her Facebook post.

Along with him in the pageant are his Filipino-blooded cousins, who also bagged special awards and titles such as Little Miss Citrus Princess and Miss Citrus Teen.

With the main competition set for next year, Ian’s family spends his big win and the time they have on vacation. Recently, they spent some family-quality time in Boston and California.

A little man with big potential, with continuous support from his family and his cousins, who will also enter the competition, might be confident enough to garner the main grand title.
