Ilonggos can look forward to more projects under the President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. brand of leadership, Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla said on Friday.

Lotilla, also the Western Visayas Cabinet Officer for Development and Security, graced the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbiyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” program at the Iloilo capitol where free government programs and services marked the 67th birthday of President Marcos.

Lotilla said the President makes decisions based on the perspective of the people.

His mission under Bagong Pilipinas (New Philippines) is responsible leadership that will start not only at his level but down to the communities.

He cited as an example phase II of the Jalaur River multipurpose dam where Marcos approved the additional PHP8 billion for its completion.

“In the future, we look forward to other projects that will benefit the people of Iloilo,” he said in his message.

During the activity, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) released PHP3.18 million for the salary of 1,098 beneficiaries of the emergency employment scheme Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers.

Also, close to PHP2 million in assistance was released to two groups of recipients for a store project and other projects under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program.
