Pride Month 2024 is in full swing, and Manila is gearing up for an exciting lineup of events to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community. From vibrant festivals to poignant theater productions, there’s something for everyone in the latter half of June. Whether you’re looking to march, watch a show, or join a party, these events promise to highlight the spirit of #Pride with love, unity, and resilience.

Upcoming Pride Events in Manila

1. Pride PH’s LoveLaban2Everyone Pride PH Festival 2024

When: June 22, 2024 at 10 AM-12 MN
Where: Quezon Memorial Circle

On June 22, head to the Quezon Memorial Circle for the largest pride event in the Philippines, the LoveLaban2Everyone Pride PH Festival 2024. There will be a Pride Expo, Pride March, Pride Night, and Pride Food & Art Market on the same day. Get the chance to engage with fellow LGBTQIA+ members and allies when you attend this festival!

Starting at 10 AM and wrapping up at midnight, the festival includes a concert from 5 PM with performances by Vice Ganda, BINI, Marina Summers, Juan Karlos, and many more, hosted by Sassa Girl and others. Last year, the festival attracted over 110,000 attendees, making it the biggest pride event in Southeast Asia. Remember, this isn’t just a celebration—it’s a movement for change, love, and equality.

2. LPU Tanghalang Batingaw presents the 47th Season Ender Production: Pula Ang Bahaghari

When: June 20 and 22 at 1 PM and 4 PM
Where: JPL Hall of Freedom

Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Manila wants you to prepare to see a red rainbow as they open the JPL Hall of Freedom for the “Pula and Bahaghari” play this coming June 20 and 22 at 1 PM and 4 PM.

Pula ang Bahaghari is a story about the challenges and struggles that drag artists face as they fight for their dreams. This show is written by Anne Lascano and directed by Erica Niones. LPU Tanghalang Batingaw is recognized as the longest-running theater organized in Intramuros established in 1976.

Tickets are sold at PHP100 for LPU students, PHP150 for Non-Lycean students, and PHP300 for VIP seats. You can reserve through this form.

3. De La Salle University – Student Government’s Animo Pride 2024 presents Ready, Set, Gew! and Drag Concert Extravaganza

When: June 20, 2024
Where: Rizal Memorial Sports Complex Track Oval for Fun Run and Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium for Drag Concert

DLSU’s first ever drag concert, The Drag Concert Extravaganza, will stage this June 20 at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium by 7 PM. Drag performers Marina Summers, M1ss Jade So, Taylor Sheesh, Arizona Brandy, Maxie Andreison, and more will perform at the concert hosted by Baus Rufo and Miki Santos. The Home of the Golden Gays, the event’s beneficiary, will also guest the show.

On the other hand, the pride fun run, Ready Set Gew!, is also set for June 20 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. There will be a raffle draw for a chance to win a brand new Oppo A57. Unfortunately, the registration for this fun run is already closed.

Animo Pride is a grand celebration of the LGBTQIA+ pride in De La Salle University.

4. UPD’s Rampa, Kweens! UPD Pride March and Concert

When: June 28, 2024 at 4 PM
Where: Quezon Hall

The University of the Philippines Dilliman organized its very own Pride Month festivities with a theme, “Rampa Kweens! Tungo sa kaligtasan, kalusugan, kalayaan.” One of the highlights for this celebration is the pride march and concert happening this June 28. The pride march will start at the Quezon Hall by 4 PM and the concert will begin by 5 PM. Register to join via this link.

5. Queer Safe Spaces PH presents Queer Prom

When: June 29, 2024 at 6 PM
Where: SPACE at the One Ayala

Get a chance to experience your dream queer prom this June 29 at the SPACE at the One Ayala for PHP969. Each ticket comes with a Prom Kit and Event Passport that will give you access to ALL booths. You also get to wear whatever you want without the fear of judgment or discrimination.

Doors open at 6 PM. You can register here. All proceeds will support the Queer Safe Spaces for them to fund their advocacies and operational needs.

6. The Playhouse presents Popup, Ate 2024: The White Block Party

When: June 30, 2024 at 8 PM
Where: The Pop-Up Katipunan, Quezon City

What a better way to cap off the Pride Month celebration by attending a FREE pride party at the Pop-Up Katipunan, Quezon City this June 30 at 8 PM.

Get ready to see Marina Summers, Precious Paula Nicole, Eva Le Queen, M1ss Jade So, and more when you join this event! Don’t forget to wear white.
