The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported 16 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) among overseas Filipinos, pushing the total number of infections to 11,692.
In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also tallied two new fatalities and no new Covid-19 recoveries among Filipinos abroad.
These numbers bring the death toll to 847 while total recoveries remain at 7,497.
Meanwhile, about 3,348 Filipinos overseas are still undergoing treatment.
“The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic.” the DFA statement read. (PNA)
