With 328 new recovered cases reported on Thursday, the overall tally of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) recoveries nationwide climbed to 387,266.

The Department of Health (DOH) also reported 1,392 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number of active cases to 28,789.

Of the active cases, about 84 percent are mild, 8.3 percent are asymptomatic, 2.6 percent are severe, 0.26 are moderate and 4.9 percent are in critical condition.

Most of the newly announced cases are from Caloocan City with 77, Cavite with 73, Laguna with 73, Davao City with 62, and Quezon with 60 infections.

According to the DOH data on November 25, about 1,367 or 5.6 percent out of the 24,558 who have been tested turned out positive for Covid-19.

The DOH also logged 27 deaths on Thursday, pushing the death toll to 8,242.

As of Thursday, DOH said it has 21,300 total bed capacity dedicated to Covid-19 patients.

Available are about 57 percent of 1,900 intensive care unit beds; 61 percent of 13,500 isolation beds; and 70 percent of 5,900 ward beds.

About 81 percent of 2,000 ventilators are available for patients’ use. (PNA)
